A very happy belated Indian Easter!

Many people would be surprised to know I'm a Catholic, born and raised with my name. But I am. And since I come from a fusion of two worlds it's only fitting that I wish you in the same manner. Here's a series of paintings by Goan artist Angelo De Fonseca, in which he presents the image of Christ in an Indian visual style, probably influenced by his time spent at Santi Niketan under the instruction of Tagore. Enjoy, even if it's a little late!

All paintings/images by Angelo De Fonseca.
